“We believe that anyone can basically cook!”
Set in a converted barn in the idyllic and tranquil surroundings of Golding, the facility is a light and airy, well equipped, spacious family kitchen. Conducted in an informal, but structured manner, the sessions are geared specifically to those with little or no experience to give them the skills to confidently produce simple, wholesome, cost-effective meals for themselves or family.
“I believe that the kitchen is the heart of the home – it is where everyone comes together and congregates. Every time I bake, cook or do a dinner party – I feel incredibly proud. It must have something to do with good old-fashioned home-making and nourishing your family. You can’t beat that warm, fuzzy feeling - that feeling of satisfaction, providing for your family!” ~ Anna.
The courses are available any day of the week, offered as 2.5 - 3 hour sessions, morning, afternoon or evening. Our Basic Courses are in 6 sessions; whilst our Specialised Courses are in 4 sessions – you are in control, you can take a short time or take up to 6 weeks; whatever will fit into your busy schedule.

All courses start with refreshments and a brief introduction into the session, a quick house-keeping / hygiene / health and safety reminder; before the hands-on practical commences.
Each session would then include a minimum of 3 recipes being produced with tastings; and a minimum of 6 recipes as easy to follow handouts; culminating in a minimum of 24 recipes over the entire course presented in a folder.
With a maximum of 3 people on each session, undertaken in a friendly, relaxed home-kitchen, you can only grow in confidence and knowledge.
